Give Blood | Get a T-shirt

It seems that the NHS and the National Blood Service have not only seen a fall in the number of people wishing to give their precious blood away but they have seen the popularity (and let’s face it the common sense!) of the allure of the printed t-shirt.

Their latest recruitment ploy is to reward doners with an exclusive printed t-shirt by the fashion designer Wale Adeyemi, a pretty hot young British fashion designer who along with having worked with Beyonce, Charlotte Church, Victoria Beckham and The Black Eyed Peas to name but a few, received an MBE in last year’s Birthday Awards.

His label “Somewhere between the Kerb and the Boutique” or B-Side is currently making headlines in the fashion industry due to his fusion of Hip-hop inspired looks and Street wear that seems have been embraced by the music industry in and around Central London and beyond.

The t-shirts are available in both girls and guys designs and are there are a limited number available to the first 100 donors.

All you have to do to take advantage of this great and obviously worthwhile (for others and yourself, you never know!) is fill out a form on the website once you have donated and a t-shirt will be sent to you…simple as…well, giving blood!

Check out the website, help others and get free clothing!

Bye Bye Belt

We’re all looking for the next new thing to stand out from the crowd, the trendiest labels, those brands yet to have been discovered and monopolised by the department stores, the ones where people ask where you got those new jeans or that t-shirt from and you really don’t want to say in case they are no longer your find and you end up seeing the brand on everybody on the high street (believe me I’ve been there! boo hoo). Well Schultz have done just that and discovered a new craze that so far as I’ve seen, hasn’t been seen in these parts just yet. Their new range of jeans features a trendy underwear-like strap that is attached to both side of the separation where the buttons or zip is found…meaning that the wearer can now unzip and flaunt their very expensive or very exciting choice of underwear. The straps literally act as a waistband so no amount of running around or dancing will bring those babies down. Meaning that you can be the only person in the club tonight that is able to drop trou’ without the embarrassment of a) being thrown out or b) revealing your whole package in front of an audience whilst still causing a stir and obviously highlighting those very tight and neon pink Aussiebums that you bought last week and can’t quite keep to yourself. The straps themselves are detachable and there are a number of different prints to choose from. Basically they look like the ever coveted straps that are on a lot of labelled underwear at the moment which is usually seen on the waistband above the jeans, still unsure as to why but hey that’s fashion for you.

With this breakthrough in fashion ingenuity comes the accessories and the extras. Their t-shirt range is limited but what I do love is their motto of getting rid of the belt. One tee has a diagram of a guy literally binning a big box of belts, or another red one (my favourite) is of a belt buckle/button with wings, simple and effective I say!

Anyone like me whom spends quite a considerable amount of money on trendy belts will probably quiver with fear at the notion of the belt disappearing but like all fashion novelty trends I’m sure it won’t meant the end of them. What I do love is something different, something completely new that hasn’t been done before, random and fun is exactly what should be brought into the fashion of today, something lacking recently with the extreme seriousness of the certain looks out there today. So I say bravo to this forward thinking brand. Keep the ideas coming!

Neon Hot

It seems that the 80’s whether you love or hate them have come back with a vengeance; infecting the pop and fashion industry with the rather eccentric tastes popular during my first decade of life are fast becoming part of every day music and clothing. Neon seems to have stuck with quite vigour and I have to say that for once I’m loving it! Sometimes what you have drawn or written on your t-shirt just isn’t enough to get noticed or quite frankly glow in the dark; but put on a day glow pink t-shirt and you are bound to catch people’s eyes. Perhaps not the best colours to compliment your skin tone or hair colour but can be fun nonetheless. All of the high street stores now boast a wide range of tees, underwear and socks to shock and inspire (I myself have recently bought a few pairs of outrageous coloured socks and Diesel now produce some wicked neon and brightly coloured underwear).

Hoodies are now also being given the neon treatment with the introduction of multi coloured ones being sold at Republic. Complete with different coloured (yet another neon one) zip and hood, these are not for the faint hearted, not quite sure what they would go with but they’re here and will most likely be a hit.

Here at Reinspire we aren’t afraid of new things and strive to supply equally fashionable and affordable clothing that encompasses new and interesting trends.

We too have bright coloured hooded sweatshirts. Our Varsity and College hoodies boast a variety of hot eye catching shades of every colour imaginable and some perhaps not so imaginable! You want hot pink, we’ve got it, you want neon orange we’ve got that too.

T-shirts are also available in hot pink, neon yellow and orange. With the ability to customise and personalise you can not only stand out but add a little something special to them. With the addition of a range of neon and outrageous vinyl for printing we can produce something that you can’t get in the shops, want a hot pink hoody with a wild neon green print, you’ve got it, neon blue print on a neon orange tee, no problem. The 80’s have landed, and Reinspire is “down with it”!
